"Ah Kirk, my old friend. Do you know the Klingon proverb that tells us revenge is a dish that is best served cold? It is very cold in space."

"I don't believe in the no-win scenario."

"I'll chase him round the moons of Nebir and round the Antares maelstrom and round Perdition's flames before I give him up."

"Why are you here?"

".... why..."

"You have to understand why things work on a starship."

"Khaaaaaan!"

"The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few."

"Or the one."

The only question left: Did Khan's command chair have rich Corinthian leather?

Many fans of Star Trek contend this is the best film in the series, and its difficult to disagree. Although Star Trek IV was more popular generally, The Wrath of Khan has the distinction of containing quite probably the greatest 10 minutes in the entirety of Star Trek: the battle between the Reliant and the Enterprise.

As much as "serious" film critics enjoy panning science-fiction films in general and Star Trek in particular, Ricardo Montalban's reprise of his performance as Khan Noonian Singh in Star Trek II was just plain great acting. Montalban is the chief reason this film made The Top Ten Most Quotable Movies of All Time and The Wrath of Khan will probably always remain one of the best Star Trek films. His performance in the original series episode "Space Seed," which depicted Khan's origin, was equally well-acted. There are few actors capable of portraying unspoken hatred better.

Star Trek II was also responsible for a great deal of lore and myth in the larger Star Trek universe, including the famous Kobayashi Maryu scenario and the activation of the Genesis device, which drove plotlines in not one but two film sequels.

It's 106 miles to Chicago. Presenting the Number Eight Most Quotable Movie of All Time!

Revenge is a dish best served cold, I thought that was an earth phrase. And how would Khan know anything about Klingon's? It really was one of the best star trek movies thought.
