Zuma beach has a very popular snack bar which serves the basic ball park type snacks, sodas, hot dogs, nachos and so forth. There are restaurants nearby on the Westward Beach Road area, including Italian, Sushi and the Coral Beach Cantina.

Parking and Directions

Zuma is an approximately three mile long beach located 19 miles west of Malibu along Pacific Coast Highway. There are 2,000 parking spaces available in a paid parking lot, and (sometimes crowded) free parking on the west side of Pacific Coast Highway. No alcohol or pets are allowed on the beach.

Recreation and Activities

Like Santa Monica and Venice beach, Zuma has a boardwalk path alongside the beach for walking tours of the shoreline. Zuma is popular for boogie boarding and body surfing, but is also often crowded with surfers as well. The beach is also equipped with volleyball courts, and there is also fishing and whale watching in the winter.
